Members of the Magnus International Resources’ African geological team have collectively proven their ability to identify, explore and manage mineral properties in Africa and elsewhere.

Gavin Conway | Director and VP Exploration
Mr. Conway has 20 years worldwide experience in precious and base metals exploration and mining as a country manager, project manager, senior exploration geologist, geotechnical engineering geologist and mine geologist. Prior to joining Magnus, Gavin worked as a consulting geologist to Placer Dome as part of the Africa and Europe new projects generative team. He also worked for Gold Fields Ltd for over ten years in Mexico, Venezuela and South Africa. Gavin holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Cape Town and an MSc in Geology from University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He is a Fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
